Rory Christian

Film and new media content Producer Rory L. Christian has produced a wide array of moving picture works for a wide variety of mediums since he begin in film/television production in the mid 1980’s. The Chicago native discovered his love for motion-production while in high school as part of a troupe of minority students selected to participate in the Indiana Black Expo Youth Telecommunications Workshop (YTW). Christian excelled in the program and would become an instructor in the program during his college years.

Through this role in the program he also discovered his natural talent for teaching and shortly after college began to teach at middle school in the Indianapolis Public School System. Through the years, Christian also taught high school and college as well. As a teacher at Collins College in Phoenix, he taught courses on producing independent films.

Shortly after graduation from Purdue University he co-founded his first media company, an independent motion picture and music production company. Through this company he produced short films, documentaries, music videos, corporate videos and two gospel music recordings.

In 2004, Christian returned to the classroom as a student and in 2005 earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Phoenix. While working in the Indianapolis Public Schools system, he discovered a passion for working with students with learning disabilities. In addition to his work in media content production, he worked over 17 years in Special Education and served as the facilitator of Special Education at a Phoenix, Arizona public high school.

In 2010 he founded Media 528 Entertainment. Through Media 528 Entertainment he continued to produce film works, television programming, and content for new media. Christian has a passion for educating young filmmakers as a mentor, teacher, and internship sponsor.

In 2013, Christian joined forces with Greg Galloway and Autumn Bailey-Ford and became a minority partner in a VOD and streaming service distributor of independent film and entertainment content.

Christian currently resides in Fayetteville, Georgia with his wife and 3 children where he actively continues to produce film and digital media content across a multitude of platforms.
