meet jerry.

Founder and managing owner of Nu Eer Legacy Entertainment, LLC., a film and media content production company (established in 2018). Previously, Jerry worked in the integrated supply chain industry for over thirty (30) years, across three different global, Fortune 500 companies. This included long tenures in both the automotive and aerospace industries.

Jerry held Operations and Materials & Logistics leadership roles, with increasing levels of responsibility; and in 1998, he became a senior level Human Resources leader. In his Human Resources leadership roles, he provided strategic business support, direction, and guidance to numerous business executives; with global responsibility, and organizational budgets ranging from $200 million to $400 million annually. His most recent corporate role was as a Human Resources Director for a $13B aerospace company. In 2020, Jerry became a full-time entrepreneur.

Jerry is a native of Detroit, Michigan that discovered his love for film as child. In 1977, both Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind were released. It was those two films that sparked a passion for great story-telling, with memorable characters, in epic and captivating films. From that point on, he became a lifelong fan of great motion pictures, television, and other media content.

It was during his high school years at Cass Technical High School, Detroit, Michigan that he first discovered a natural talent for writing and communication. Those skills were further developed during his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), Ypsilanti, Michigan; and his graduate program at Central Michigan University (CMU), Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from EMU in 1993, and a Master of Science in Administration in Human Resources from CMU in 1998.

In 2018, Jerry decided to start his entrepreneurial journey; and pursue his passion for film, by forming Nu Eer Legacy Entertainment, LLC. In addition to his natural talent, high aptitude, and insight into story-telling, writing, and character development, Jerry also brought a wealth of business experience and expertise relative to project and program management; strategic goal development and deployment; leading and working with high performing teams; driving accountability through effective operating systems; and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.

Jerry currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona, and has lived there since 2009. He is the Greeters ministry leader at his local church in Phoenix, AZ. Jerry is an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, a VA/SBA certified small business and minority owner. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Achievements include completing the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success course in 2010, and receiving the Highest Award for Achievement honor for that graduating class.
